Icon is committed to building a legacy within our communities through financial giving and employee involvement. Each employee has pledged a weekly time commitment within the communities in which we live and work. In addition to the hours submerged within our communities, Icon Group, Inc. also provides financial backing to non-profit organizations.


 


 



Icon employees are currently involved with Habitat for Humanity in Evergreen and the Denver area. We feel it's important to give back to those who are less fortunate.


 


 



National Association of Women In Construction and Block Kids. Icon women are members of NAWIC and the company contributes and participates in the Block Kids program. NAWIC supports women in construction by providing resources and enhance the success of women in construction. Block Kids is a competition that gives third, fourth, and fifth graders a chance to use their creativity and construct buildings, bridges and cranes using Legos, aluminum foil and string. Each student then gets to explain their project and they are graded on creativity. This is national competition where the winners of the local chapters have the opportunity to advance to the finals to receive a $5,000 scholarship.


 


 



Icon is actively involved with Urban Land Institute, which is a nonprofit educational organization made up of individuals within real estate sector including developers, architects and contractors. Our participation is currently involved with the Young Leaders Group in planning educational events on issues such as green building and smart growth.
